On Sunday, <em>ESPN<\/em> reported the young athlete was riding her bicycle alongside a highway in Brazos County, Texas a day prior when a car passed her, suddenly stopped, then allegedly reversed into her.<\/p>\n<p class=\"highlight\">WTF!<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF; border: 0; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: 0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width: 540px; min-width: 326px; padding: 0; width: calc(100% - 2px);\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DZaXedglvuO\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\">\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the <strong>Brazos County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/strong>, the incident occurred just before 10:00 a.m. local time on Saturday. The Sheriff\u2019s Office revealed in a statement:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cInitial reports indicated that a vehicle had struck a bicyclist, leaving an adult female lying in the roadway. First responders arrived on scene and provided emergency medical care before the victim was transported to a local hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Tragically, \u201cdespite lifesaving efforts,\u201d Hannah \u201clater passed away at the hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>How completely awful\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/perezhilton.com\/kris-jenner-mother-mj-dead-91-read-her\/\"><strong>Related: Kris Jenner\u2019s Mom MJ Dead At 91 \u2014 Read Her Heartbreaking Tribute<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After launching an investigation, cops were able to identify the driver of the vehicle as 31-year-old <strong>Charles Medina<\/strong>, whom they arrested and charged with manslaughter. After winning the fight, Tiara sang Hannah\u2019s graces, calling her \u201cthe best dance partner I have ever faced as a pro\u201d in an <strong>Instagram<\/strong> post. She added:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWhen she asked for my autograph, it filled my heart because we were getting ready for war \u2026 We fought a GREAT fight for the fans from the 1st bell to the last! It was my honor to share the ring with her.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In the wake of Hannah\u2019s death, the WBC president <strong>Mauricio Sulaiman<\/strong> honored her in a statement:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe loss of Hannah Rapp leaves us heartbroken. She was an exceptional boxer, but above all, an invaluable member of our boxing family.
