Visma-Lease a Bike rider slid out on the exit of a roundabout and was seen holding his right shoulder on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>With the peloton waiting up ahead, <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/jonas-vingegaard\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/jonas-vingegaard\/\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/riders\/jonas-vingegaard\/\">Vingegaard<\/a> was seen getting into an ambulance, putting an end to aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"kiosq-b\">The Danish rider had started the day with a deficit of 4.30 to Tadej Poga\u010dar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG), who already had four stage wins to his name. Vingegaard, however, remained unbowed, repeatedly stating in interviews that he was at the race to win.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"kiosq-b\">Sunday\u2019s stage 15 was clearly one he had an eye on, the final steep climb suiting his characteristics.
