We\u2019re not doing the job right making a film of \u2018The Odyssey\u2019 if it doesn\u2019t seem difficult.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOne of the many challenging facets of \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d was that it was shot entirely with Imax cameras. Nolan recalled telling the team at Imax before shooting, \u201cIf ever we are going to fulfill this dream of shooting the entire movie that way, this is the one. This is \u2018The Odyssey.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tEven though \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d proved to be a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/film\/news\/zendaya-mouth-frozen-the-odyssey-set-1236802434\/\">grueling production<\/a>, Nolan would not have wanted it any other way. The biggest risk of all is to play it safe,\u201d Nolan said. \u201cThat\u2019s what, consistently in mainstream movies, doesn\u2019t work.
