Paul Pelosi also faces an infraction of making an unlawful turn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Napa County Sheriff&#8217;s Office previously said no one was injured in the incident. A witness called 911 and told authorities a driver hit the parked car, briefly stopped, and then left the scene, the sheriff&#8217;s office said in a statement to multiple news outlets. He kept driving until the car became disabled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The sheriff&#8217;s office said Paul Pelosi didn&#8217;t have alcohol in his system at the time, and he wasn&#8217;t arrested at the scene, which officials said is common for such misdemeanor cases. The sheriff&#8217;s office said it referred the case to the state Department of Motor Vehicles to evaluate whether Paul Pelosi should be allowed to continue driving, which officials added was a process common for older drivers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">An attorney wasn&#8217;t listed in court records for Paul Pelosi, a wealthy businessman who runs a San Francisco-based venture capital firm.
